A multifaceted studio focused on developing provocative conversations between users, objects, and environments. Creative Director Adam Voorhees’ passion for design and sailing started at a young age. By five years old he was already drawing profiles of boats and sections depicting interior arrangements. Being interested in everything around him and feeding an intense need to learn, Adam started to find and create connections with disparate ideas and elements.
As Adam pursues a fascination with the convergence between the built and natural environment, the yacht has come to represent this pinnacle of design. The challenge is enormous as a yacht must respond to the demands of architecture, transportation, environment, and materiality. Above all, a yacht is a complete experience that inspires the interaction between human and nature. These interdependent and essential relationships require design that adapts and transforms to reflect the dynamic context of its surroundings. Exploring new territories in design allows Adam Voorhees to define future yachting contexts and landscapes.
